Kevin Rigney is a Music Production and Audio for Media Instructor for Atlanta Institute of Music and Media. He is responsible for teaching various Music Production courses including live sound techniques, DAW editing and processing, sound design for game audio, and advanced music production. Kevin is an Avid Certified Instructor, Avid Operator in Music, Post Production, and Sound Design for Game Audio. As a live sound engineer, he has years of experience mixing for various artists in many genres including Steve Vai, Dave Weckl, Simon Phillips, Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey; Virgil Donati, Aristocrats, Paul Gilbert, Tosin Abasi and many others. He is also an accomplished composer and sound designer where he has worked with Adult Swim, CNN Sports, Verizon Wireless, Honeywell, Inc. and many others. Kevin is a husband and father of two, avid soccer player, motorcycle rider and sports car enthusiast. In his free time, he enjoys live music, brewing beer, and spending time with his family.
