Complete the FAFSA online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov using the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (AIMM) school code: 031045
Your Financial Aid will not be processed until you have applied for Admission to AIMM
Apply for Scholarships. Refer to our 'Free Scholarship Searches' at AIMM Forms & Links. Review the link to Tips on assisting you to get scholarships to help pay for college
Check student's email for the next steps to continue the processing of your Financial Aid File
If selected for Verification (see Verification link), you will receive an email outlining the documents that are required to complete the Verification process
Submit the requested documents to complete Verification, so that the AIMM Financial Aid Office can continue processing your FA File
If a student is selected for Verification and it is not completed, your financial aid will not be processed and you will not receive financial aid
Complete the necessary steps for the loan process on the www.studentloans.gov website (if interested in applying)
Students - Complete the Entrance Counseling & Sign Master Promissory Note for Federal Direct Loan for Students (Subsidized/Unsubsidized)
Parents - Complete PLUS Request Process & Sign Master Promissory Note for Federal PLUS Loan for Parents (if interested in applying)
Once your Financial Aid Award Notice has been emailed to you, the Bursar will email you a Statement of Account, which will notify you of any cash balance not covered by Financial Aid. AIMM has a Payment Plan for payment on account balances not covered by financial aid (payments can be paid by cash, check, debit card, money order or credit card)
Pay account balance when due (Sign up for text message notification of Payment Plan deadlines)
Finance charges (7%) are accessed on the unpaid balance, not covered by financial aid
