TaRiesha Fayson

TaRiesha “R’Jay” Fayson is a distinguished drummer and educator hailing from Washington, D.C. Her musical journey began at the age of 10, playing in church settings, which laid the foundation for her dynamic fusion of gospel, pop, R&B, and jazz styles. In 2014, R’Jay gained international recognition by winning the “Hit Like A Girl” global drumming competition, propelling her to performances at events like PASIC 2014 and a three-month tour in China. She currently lends her talents to groups such as No Last Call and actively performs with multiple church ensembles. Beyond performing, R’Jay is committed to mentoring the next generation of drummers, sharing her passion and expertise through various educational initiatives.
