Students train in professional-grade studios and performance spaces using industry-standard software and equipment, including AVID Pro Tools and Ableton Live. Our instructors are not only educators but active professionals—Grammy-winning producers, seasoned session musicians, and experienced engineers—who bring decades of industry knowledge directly into the classroom.

We also offer flexible scheduling and multiple program formats to suit your needs. Whether you’re looking for an accelerated track, a part-time path, or a fully online option, AIMM provides the tools, support, and structure to help you succeed. From the beginning of your training to the launch of your career, you’ll gain the technical mastery, artistic confidence, and industry insight to pursue your goals with clarity and purpose.

Which Track is Right for You?

We offer two associate degree programs, specialized certificates, and a range of online courses to support diverse learning paths.

Music Production and Audio for Media Associate Degree Program

Master the full audio production process for music, film, television, video games, and multimedia projects in AIMM’s most comprehensive audio engineering program. This hands-on experience is designed to help you grow as both a producer and artist, covering everything from recording and mixing to sound design and music production. The program also includes the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized Pro Tools Certification.

Music Technology Associate Degree Program

This performance-driven program is designed to develop you into the modern musician. You’ll receive intensive instrument or vocal training in drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, or voice while also building core music production skills. Learn advanced performance techniques, music theory, and how to produce, record, mix, and master your own music. By graduation, you’ll be prepared to perform, create, and confidently navigate today’s music industry as a complete artist.

Certificate Programs

Certificate programs offer intensive, skill-based training in performance or music production. With shorter timelines and a focused curriculum, these programs are ideal for students who want to sharpen their craft and quickly build a professional portfolio.

Online Programs

AIMM’s online certificates provide the same expert instruction and industry tools as our in-person programs, delivered in a flexible virtual format. Students can study Music Production or Music & Technology (Guitar/Bass/Keyboard) from anywhere while building the same professional skill set and portfolio.
