Atlanta, Ga Drum Instructor Eric Dansie

Eric Dansie has been playing drums for nearly 2 decades, and his passion for music kept him enrolled in the band program in middle-school where he remained actively involved all the way through high school performing in percussion ensembles, marching, symphonic, pep, and jazz bands.

In 2009, Eric was recruited by independent national touring act Evolucid and toured the U.S. playing in over 45 states performing in theaters and festivals with thousands of fans in attendance. After touring for two and a half years, Eric decided to take his education to the next level by enrolling in the drum program at the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media. While at AIMM, he was awarded an academic-based scholarship and graduated with honors in spring of 2013.

A year later, in the spring of 2014, Eric became a member of the faculty at the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media. And ever since, Eric has been playing in corporate, cover, and original bands in Atlanta and the surrounding metropolitan area. Eric is excited to continue his career as a musician/teacher/performer and is eager to pass along his love and knowledge of the drums to future students at AIMM.
