About Taylor Cinnamon
Taylor Cinnamon is a Music Production Instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, where he teaches students the foundational skills of audio engineering and studio workflow. In addition to his teaching role, Taylor brings years of hands-on experience in live sound and studio environments, giving students practical insight drawn directly from the field.
Before teaching full-time at AIMM, Taylor worked extensively throughout Atlanta’s live sound scene. He served as the front-of-house engineer for the contemporary service at Mt. Bethel UMC in Roswell, Georgia, and spent eight years mixing in major venues including Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome, Gwinnett Arena, Turner Field, Terminal West, and The Fox Theatre.
Taylor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan and a Certificate in Music Production from the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media. Outside the classroom, he enjoys mixing for clients, helping design and build studio spaces, and building custom gaming computers.
