Larkin was not only interested in music and film from a young age, but he also enjoyed anything technical. Taking apart his toys and the family phone, just to see what made them work. He pursued his musical interests and was classically trained in the “upright” or “double bass” in the orchestra. Quickly, he found a passion for stringed instruments and found a passion for the bass guitar, guitar, and piano. This led him and his friends to create a band that he played with on the weekends. While this led to expanding his musical tastes and interests, he also found his focus turning to electronic recording, sound manipulation and sound design using programs like Pro Tools. This combined his interests and knowledge in computers as well as music and film. Larkin continued to pursue his passions in the Audio and Visual production world throughout his life while also pursuing a career in health services as an EMT-I, which he is now retired after 14 years of service. For the past eight years, he has dedicated his time solely to his career in the Music and Film industry. Working in the field of production for films, live events, and editing for post-production for music and film and he has enjoyed every moment of it.
