Zach Shoup is an AIMM graduate from the Music Production and Audio for Media degree program. Since graduating in 2024, Zach has built a versatile career across multiple areas of the audio industry, including sound design, Foley, boom operation, composing, music production, and live sound.

His work has included audio roles on short films, a documentary, commercials, and film festival projects, where he has contributed as a sound designer, composer, and post-production audio professional. Zach has also worked as a front-of-house engineer, applying the signal flow, console operation, EQ, compression, and live mixing skills he developed during his time at AIMM.

While Zach originally came to AIMM focused on music, his education introduced him to the many career paths available in audio. Through hands-on training in studios, location sound, surround mixing, Pro Tools, and professional production workflows, he discovered new opportunities in film, media, and live sound.

Today, Zach continues to use the skills, connections, and real-world experience he gained at AIMM to build a career doing what he loves.
